Who's behind Gestion COBE?
We often talk about our products, our great deals, our inventory — but we rarely take the time to introduce you to the people behind the business. So today, we're pulling back the curtain a little!
A story that starts with a tornado
Gestion COBE hasn't always gone by this name. It all began in 2019, in Gatineau, under the name PAAL — a business focused on wood and arboriculture, founded with Patrick, a tree expert. The trigger? A tornado that hit our land, forcing us to have several trees cut down. One thing led to another, and the business shifted direction toward real estate and machinery, while Patrick continued his arboriculture activities on his own.
In 2021, we took the big leap: buying our store/garage in Saint-Côme-Linière, in the Beauce region. That's where we truly put down roots, and it's still our home base today.
Alexandre Bernard — the backbone of the business
Alexandre is involved in every transaction. Purchases, sales, client relations — he has a knack for finding great deals and staying connected with a vast network of contacts. His memory for names and everyone's needs is legendary on the team: ask him, and he'll probably still remember what you were looking for two years ago!

Marie-Claude Cossette — the touch that keeps things running
Marie-Claude joined the adventure in 2020, back when she and Alexandre were still special education teachers in Aylmer. It was while expecting their second child that she started getting more involved in the company's paperwork — and she never left. Today, she handles marketing, accounting, and administration. And despite the numbers and forms, she's never afraid to roll up her sleeves when needed.
Together, Alexandre and Marie-Claude form what they like to call a "hell of a team" — and that's exactly the energy that drives Gestion COBE every day.

Caroline Côté Vincent — the jack-of-all-trades
Caroline joined the team in 2025, and she wears many hats at once: administrative tasks, in-store sales, setting up merchandise — if it touches the store, Caroline has a hand in it. Generous and reliable, she brings great energy every day. And as if that weren't enough, she's also a farmer and owner of her own shop, La Boîte à Passion — Fleuriste. A true jack-of-all-trades!
